Very interesting piece of history and it's impressive how massive this place was. Walking the aqueducts was an interesting immersive experience. Definitely worth a visit. Museum is educational and entrance is free. Impressed with how well maintained everything is.

Free entrance. Their museum is only a small one and quite simple but it transports you back in time. A timely visit since a lot of communities are now experiencing water shortages. I wish all homes now adopt the same requirement in that era: for homes to each have their own cisterns which catches rain water. Also reading about the Katipuneros in a “different light” made me appreciate them again. A very educational place. Go see this place!

As my visit to NHCP Museo El Deposito came to an end, I took a moment to reflect on the wealth of knowledge I had gained. The museum not only deepened my understanding of the historical significance of water supply systems in the Philippines but also instilled a sense of appreciation for the ingenuity and resourcefulness of our ancestors.

If you want to know more about our history then this place is a very important site to visit. It may not be that famous but it has a lot of history to be told. This place is a museum that shows the battle between Filipinos and foreign invaders. This needs to be part of the curriculum for children. The El Deposito was once a water reserve that services the whole Metro Manila. The reason many battles were conducted here is that water is one of the most important resource even up to this day. Controlling this water reserve can control the whole Metro Manila and other areas during Spanish times up to early American regime. This is my most recommended place.

First time going here, and not going to be my last. There's no entrance fee. They have a small museum that you must go first to register and to give you the history about the reservoir. The place gives you this nostalgic feeling like you're living in the late 1800s - to early 1900s. Be aware that it smells of sewage since it's underground, and old. However, if you follow the commute route from Google Maps, be aware also that it's a long walk from J. Ruiz LRT Station going to the museum unless you see alternative options like a trike or jeep ride (please let me know if you found one).
